World Heritage Sites – Outstanding Universal Value, Settings and Visual Impact seminar

English Heritage is running a free day-long seminar for planners and others looking at the different ways in which World Heritage Sites in England are protected.

Speakers include

  • Rachel Rooney (Greater London Authority) talking about the London View Management Framework
  • Andrew Shurland  (Bath and North East Somerset)  talking about Bath and its setting
  • John Hinchliffe  (Liverpool ) talking about the Liverpool tall building SPG
  • Sue Cole (English Heritage) talking about Outstanding Universal Value and what it means and an up-date on the English Heritage national setting guidance and Seeing the History in the View

The workshop will be held at English Heritage’s offices in Waterhouse Square EC1N 2ST on 9th June starting at 10.30 and finishing at 4.30pm.  The nearest station is Chancery Lane (Central Line) a two minute walk away.
