Heritage Lottery Fund Grants

The Heritage Lottery Fund was set up in 1994 to distribute money raised by the National Lottery to heritage projects. Grants range from multi-million pound investments in iconic sites and buildings to small grants that make all the difference to community groups. HLF has supported over 18,000 projects, allocating £3.3billion across the UK.

To find out about the HLF grant giving programmes and how to apply please visit their website at http://www.hlf.org.uk/ .

The Heritage Lottery Fund is also running a consultation – Our Heritage, Our Future, Your Say – asking everyone how they think heritage lottery money should be spent in the future. This runs from the 23rd November to 28th February 2006. Visit their website at http://www.hlf.org.uk/future/ to have your say on the future of lottery funding for heritage
